This is a rare, limited-edition printing of Plutarch’s Lives. It is published by P. F. Collier & Son in 1909 as part of the prestigious Harvard Classics series.
**Not to be confused with the standard limited as this was the first 1000**
This edition, titled “Alumni Edition De Luxe," was strictly limited to 1,000 numbered sets, and this copy is No. 885.

In pretty good condition for its age. There is some discoloration to the hardcover edges/rough edges/spine. No missing pages or major marks on any of the pages. Small dent on the bottom edge under Alumni Edition. Inside pages may be a bit dirty. Please see all photos!
