Vintage Edward Gorey bean bag, The Gorey Cat doll. These were manufactured by The Toy Works in 1978. Approximately 4" wide
Based on the artwork of Edward Gorey, this sewn fabric Cat is lovingly stitched and filled with small pellets. This cat has a very light grayish "fur" coat and sports a Blue Striped Shirt.
Along the back side of left leg, Edward Gorey is printed along the outer edge, with the year, 1978. Some very light foxing is visible on the fabric, this is normal with the age of it.
Over all, The Gorey Cat is in very good to excellent used condition.
